Geeske is an illustrator who defines the world around her through her pen and paint brush. She captures emotions, ambiences and events: from tough, sensitive topics to humorous, cosy situations.
She has a preference for drawing people; in their posture and facial expression, Geeske can very subtly show us whether they are dreamy, happy, extroverted or introspective, sometimes sad, scared or angry.
Due to her hearing impairment, Geeske observes more acutely how people express their feelings and emotions in a non-verbal way, which she translates into her work.
